I have a 58710 (10kw air-cooled guardian from a few years ago) that I want to use for backup power at a small radio communications site. I could rewire everything to use the 12-circuit load center it came with, but I'd rather have a single switch that I can put between the 100A main and the existing subpanel. Is there an alternative switch that works with this generator?

If this is a do-it-yourself project you can use the switch without using the breaker section.

That's a thought, but looking for something a little more professional-looking at this particular location. From digging through the install manual it looks like an RTS (and maybe also the RXS, since the wiring appears the same) switch would work?
