How difficult is it to replace the valve adjustment lock nuts on a Generac air cooled 20KW model 6244. Does Ziller sell them?

You would need to back the rocker arm stud (bolt) out fully to replace it. Other folks here may have more info. This should be the part (0D9998):

A very simple procedure when you understand the geometry and operation of the valve train. Disable the unit at the control and remove the fuse, remove the left end cooling fan covers to access the fan, remove the spark plugs, remove one valve cover at a time and turn the fan counter clock-wise until that piston is at top dead center on the compression stroke(neither valve rocking), loosen the locknut, turn the ball stud counter clock-wise until it is free from the head, replace the nut, re-assemble and adjust lash on that valve. Just do one valve at a time and it will go real easy.
