What is the difference if any in the RTSW200A3 and the RXSW200A3 transfer switches. Is it current model and previous model? Also will either work on older non Evolution or Nexius generator?

I'm wondering what the difference is also. I know that the rxsw replaced the rtsw, but what is the difference ??? Are they exactly the same ??? Maybe the load shed unit is different ???

The RXS is the current model, they made some changes in the loadshed portion of the switch and control wiring layout is slightly different than the RTS. Both switches will work with any Generac air-cooled and liquid cooled up to 60KW built within the last 15 years. The logic is in the generator control-not in the transfer switch. Some other manufacturers build the logic in the switch and the generator is the slave.

I think the biggest change is they integrated the fuse holder and load shed board into one piece. The fuses themselves are much smaller now too. Other than that it works the same.

The transfer relay is also built into the board
