Can anyone provide instructions regarding the replacement of Generac Oil Pressure Switch part # OG6820.  Specifically the torque setting.  I don't want to damage the switch or crack the crankcase.

Thanksm

If this is a one-wire sender, when you put on the teflon tape or sealant, leave the first thread or two exposed so the sensor can ground to the block.
This is a good idea anyway, as you don't want a bit of sealer or tape to get into the oil gallery and plug something up.

One wrap of Teflon tape is good, these are pipe threads and will seal easily with a couple of turns, if it seeps a little then snug it down some more, two wire switch that does not require the threads to be grounded.
