We must all be worn out or busy with outside projects, I don't remember seeing the forum so quiet.

Nobody is thinking about their generators any more, it is not near wintertime at the moment.

I try not to schedule regular maintenance visits in the broiling hot summer, too unpleasant.

Those cheap pop up canopies make it more comfortable with some shade and some bottled water.

Last summer I spotted someone working on a unit at a convenience store, who had a canopy, plus an electric box fan blowing on him.

We are simply over run at Ziller right now. This forum upgrade couldn't have happened at a worse time. I hope that isn't part of being slow right now. I had no choice. I was not willing to loose everything we all have put into this forum for many years. When I say we I mean you all. This forum is all of us. I'm just an old man providing the venue. I'm not good at any of this and Chris cannot physically do one more thing. A long winded apology and just to say thank you for understanding.

Geoff,

We appreciate your efforts. This forum was the single most helpful resource when I was installing my system, and I check back in regularly, both to see what's new, and to attempt to help others if I can.

A BIG THANKS from all of us.

vBulletin is notorious for upgrade bugs, especially with multiple version jumps. People have spent days trying to recover from corrupted MySQL databases. So this really worked out quite well.

Thank you Geoff and Chris and all the folks at Ziller for putting so much effort and expense into this site, it is a gold mine.

I agree, this forum taught me more about generators than I thought I could learn or would ever have to learn. A great resource.

While I am generally very supportive of Generac, I really wish they monitored this forum more and perhaps even contributed in some way. I think if they paid attention on here they would have an even better understanding of the units performance in the field and where it would be possible to improve the product. Again I think the factory is pretty progressive at keeping a quality product competitive and putting an emphasis on training which is very important if you want satisfied cusomers.
