I have a Nexus controller on a 150KW Generac commercial generator and 1200 amp 480 volt industrial ATC 300 controller.  The ATC controller uses GTS mode (2 wire start) and the Nexus controller is basically a slave unit in the generator. The Transfer switch carries all the functions to start/stop this unit. Can anyone help me to set up a mobile link device for monitoring run status and faults?

What year is the generator. Mobile link will work on 2010 and newer units only and need clear Verizon cellular availability. Also need adaptor kit for liquid cooled units

These are new units 10/19

Generator
QT15068KNAC   sn:3004895366

Transfer Switch
ATC3C5C31200XRU   sn:3004810966

My question is being that the Nexus is a slave and ATC is the controller is there any functionality or data/information that the Mobile Link cannot produce? Or does that not matter and the end user will see the same data as if it were the Nexus controlling an RTS switch?

I would imagine you wouldn't get the typical loss of utility or return messages, only that it is running or not.  I would hope you'd get the fault messages though.

The only info that my customers need is the ability to see if it’s ready to run or not.

I sent an inquiry into mobilelinkgen.com. I'll see what they come back with and report.

I called them and they seem to be searching for answers.  Bottom line they weren’t positive that the mobile link would work. At least the person I spoke with.

I installed and set this up through Verizon/ Mobilelink and it works beautifully. I get all Alerts/status as you normally would.  Thanks for the help
