Hello, part # 0D-9437
does anyone have an old muffler no longer needed, {junk} for a 15-20-25 / model # 047220 / 047240 / 047260 that can get rid of?
This part is no longer available thru Generac, I have a muffler shop guy who has bought all the material and set up jig to build them, we just need 1 to make them off of.
He fixed the one I had, and I installed back on unit.
Hopefully have worked out a deal with Jay at National Power in Raleigh NC to sale and ship them.
if so, Please contact me or Jay.

Why don't you just take your muffler off and use that as a pattern ?

wish it was that easy, it would already be done. When the muffler went into be welded, we didn't know that he was going to be able to build them, it was just weld back up and get it back on generator. He did do a lot of detail drawings on how the muffler was built, then ordered the material to build them, but in the weeks that went by, his drawings got messed up, now he has nothing to go by to build. The homeowner which lives about 1.5 hrs away from me doesn't want to give his muffler up for a week for me to get one built off of. I assumed somone out there had 1 muffler that they would get rid of, but of course, I was wrong. Just trying to help other dealers out that might run into same problem. Its all shi*s and giggles, till someone giggles and shi*s.

Save yourself $800.00 I needed the same muffler and got a replacement on Amazon under $50.00 total plus a little and I mean little fabrication.
