I have a generator installation with a gas load of 520,000 btu and only 450,000 btu available coming in from the street. Can a load shed module be put on the boiler to correct the problem. I am thinking as the gas supply drops to generator HZ will drop and the module will turn off the boiler.

Model and serial number will be helpful so the guy's will know what you have.
Is your boiler gas fired?

You need to do a calc and have your meter upgraded by the utility.

You don't want to drop out your heat, kind of defeats the purpose?

Load Shedding affected By Gas

16KW 6462 with gas fired boiler and water heater.

Chances are it will hold up anyway. If the spec is 450k at 1/2" drop then you probably have 650k at 1" drop or so. I would say install it, do a real world test and then decide if any exotic stuff is required after that.

It boggles the mind how they came out with a smaller gen that uses more gas than a 22kW.
I haven't installed many of these just because of this. That and it's situational you may end up using more load shedding which would cost more than a larger gen.

Just wondering about the BTU input of the boiler, 520,000 total minus generator and water heater should leave you with 150-200k for the boiler.
