Generac 22kw model# 7043; ser# 3002326842; bought from Ziller 01/31/2018

We had an outage a couple of nights ago and the generator worked perfectly. When the utility power was restored and the generator was running in cool down mode........I noticed the green LED on the outside of the case was flashing green. No faults recorded. Could not find in any manuals. Generator has a total of 10 hours running on it.

Is this normal or should I be checking something?

Blinking green signals utility power has been restored.

The LED is supposed to blink when the generator is running during a power out situation. after it switches off, the light should stop blinking.

Flashing green is an indication that the transfer switch has connected the load to the generator.

If no transfer is commanded (exercise, manual operation with utility present, warm-up, cooldown) then the light is a steady green. Flashing green means it's transferred. So you did not see the light flashing during cooldown.

The moment the switch moves to generator the light begins flashing, the moment it returns to utility, it stops flashing.
State your problem, not your diagnosis.
