We adopt your type of customer! We will offer a maintenance contract, as during an emergency, those customers come first. We never turn down a customer in need.
Why wouldn't a company adopt a customer? It doesn't make any sense. I have to track down dealers for my customers all the time, and it blows my mind how many companies refuse to perform service work (make $$) and lock in a potential service contract because they didn't sell the generator.
Very poor business practice. If dealers are total jerks to me while I'm asking them to help a customer out, I simply make a couple phone calls to Generac about them, and sometimes they are removed as a service dealer because they will not take care of a warranty call.
