Model 0058370 s/n 6731963 starts normal and runs after loss of utility power. However only produces 45 to 65 volts AC at generator circuit breaker on individual  line and double that across  both terminals. Hertz is 63.5 at no load condition. This condition just started with last power outage. Generator has 235 hrs total time. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Bad voltage regulator (most likely) or stator.

Thanks Peddler for the suggestion that it was the AVR or stater causing the low AC voltage. I talked my neighbor with the same model 58370 generator into letting me use his AVR  (OH8194T) as a test to verify the diagnosis. Easy swap. Voltage returned to normal 120/240. I loaded generator with 2 electric resistance  heaters and still able to compensate. Replaced with old AVR and low voltage returned. New AVR ordered.

Thanks again Peddler for expert advice over the years.
