Generac 11kW   mod#0064383, serial#9774408, switch mod#ol3217b,    Yesterday the generator turned on and transferred, problem is I have utility voltage to switch. When I switch gen to off position the unit shuts off and transfers back to utility. So I turned it back to auto and gen starts and transfer to gen power takes place. The unit is not sensing utility voltage is present. Any ideas, I know you guys have had this problem on the forum before but i cant find it.   Thanks in advance, Craig

Sounds like a blown fuse in the transfer switch.

Cobranut is on the right track, the generator is not seeing 240 volts at the N1-N2 terminals in the generator. It could be several things, blown fuse/fuses in the transfer switch, poor conductivity on N1 and/or N2, or IF you have a brownout kit installed in the switch it may be sensing voltage lower than it's setpoint and triggering the generator to respond.
