On my annual service, (model 43903,) I swapped out the start battery, (removed both fuses on the panel, and replaced the battery.) The 4 blinking red exercise llights came on, when the system and outlet fuse were re-installed, but I could not get it to exercise at the prescribed time. (held down exercise button for 20 secs.) It starts on manual, and starts on automatic, but I can't get it to exercise. The unit has been running flawlessly for 4 years now. Any tips on resetting the exercise?

Thanks

Turns out the exercise toggle switch was defectivem and replacing it will solve the problem.

Interesting that some of the newer models are having the same problems on occassion as the older models.

For others who experience this problem, the test to see if it is the timer is to pull both wires off the back of the exerciser button and hold them together. If it then exercises, we know it is a switch that is stuck in the open position.
