I bought my gen set back when the "rolling blackouts" were happening, and it has been running great, I moved last year and reinstalled it and it ran perfect, I happened to be home yesterday when the excersise cycle was supposed to run but it didnt. I checked under the hood and was getting 4 red leds blinking, meaning the excersise cycle was not set ,so I try to reset it and the engine gives me a half a crank and stops. The engine will start when I switch to manual. I checked the battery and the negative terminal does look a little corroded , so I will replace it today, could this be my problem? Generac guardian model # 04930-2, 15 kw on propane . thanks for your help

take great care removing battery,use eye protection gloves
theses sometimes explode when they are old
replace battery and then see what it does

Done Deal, cleaned the battery connections and installed new battery. Excersise cycle reset first try!

A quick spray of the terminals with this will eliminate corrosion in the future.....should be available at auto parts stores:
