Did you test the battery by putting at least a 100 amp load on it and then measuring the voltage?
Measuring the voltage of a battery that is not under load is meaningless.  It can show full voltage but not be able to flow current because of high resistance inside of the battery.

You next need to check ground wire. Check where it connects to generator frame. Ive had to remove and clean these many times. Use sand paper to clean.. make sure battery connectors can’t turn on post by twisting with hand

This sounds similar to the issue here: https://www.zillerstore.com/post/rpm-sensor-loss-10396923 .

Locate wire 78 between the controller and starter relay. Connect a voltmeter between that wire and ground. Turn the controller off, then to manual. You should see 12 volts on wire 78 while the display says CRANKING. Do you?
