I am working on a 0052540 . Unit will not start in manual or auto, will start if I push in on LP reg. baffle or cover front port in air box. Replaced LP regulator unit starts and runs. When load over 15a unit bogs down, back fires and stops.checked idle control transformer, stepper motor and tried new board same results.Generator runs fine with small load or in manual with no load.Freq.59 voltage jumps from 230 - 250 with 15a load

Just for fun check the neutral connections from the gen. through the system to the transfer switch. Could be a loose neutral throwing the VR some bad voltages.

voltage on wire 11 93volts to ground with or with out load
voltage on wire 44 122volts to ground with or with out load

sounds like you could have a floating neutral or the load is way out of balance. Just a thought.

I do not understand the thread title.....
The voltage reading is without a load . I would think that there is a stator issue here. Where was the reading taken from. I would check before the units breaker at the stator leads.

I rechecked the readings from line side and load side of breaker in generator no load
wire 11 85 to ground /125 to neutral
wire 44 122 to ground / 125 to neutral

I still would question the stators health. Remove the stator leads and do an ohm check.
