How do you replace the circuit board on a generac 4456-3 ? Do i need to remove the complete control panel or or can the front part of the control panel with circuit board on it be removed by it self ?

To replace to control board safely remove fuses N1/N2 Disable battery charge circuit, disconnect battery. Remove to black metal cover over control panel area two 10mm nuts and two 7mm sheetmetal screws. Cover comes of easier if circuit breaker is in off position. Take two 10mm nuts off top of front panel and loosen two 10 mm nuts on bottom side. rotate forward and be carefull not to knock any other wires loose.Make note of wires to be removed from circuit board mount new circuit board fasten everything back together, reconnect battery. Then reconnect N1/N2 wires. Test system, then set exercise period.
