Hi have Model: 0052590..2006 35kw.
Went to do weekly check and the low coolant/high heat light was lit.
Unplugged the level sensor and the temp senor and still, it starts, runs
about 4 seconds and shutsdown with trouble light.
I replaced the control board, almost $500, it ran good no problem for
a couple of weeks and now back again where I started.
Down here in Louisiana and have a tropical system sitting on me now.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Bert:)

First check and make sure it is not low on coolant. If this is OK you can unplug the low coolant sensor and jumper it with a 1000 ohm resistor or a small gauge wire will do. See if the unit will stay running to get you through.

Uh Oh

Thanks for the reply ceb58. The coolant is full to the neck of the
radiator. I always check by removing the cap each week.
I thought just unplugging the level sensor would negate the sensor.
I thought it was a close to alarm sensor. You mean it is an open to
alarm? My stupid. So 1000 ohm resistor or very small wire.
I will give it a try and post results.

Thanks much...raining big time here...over 8" today and wind coming
tonight and tomorrow.

It Worked!!!

Thank You ceb58, I jumped the level sensor with some small copper
wire. It ran the exercise cycle full time and then I ran it full speed
in manual for a few minutes and all is GOOD.
I will get a new switch ordered this week.
Thanks for the correction on my thinking. The board I removed must
be good.
Thank good we will be ready for the rest of what TS Lee throws
at us. You have a great rest of the weekend.

Great glad it worked. Now don't let me see you on the news carrying a TV through flooded streets:D

Not me, I live in the Baton Rouge area, this is where all the TV's
ended up.
It's getting it outside...sweating it....it's half time and the LSU Tigers
just went ahead. Hope cable makes the whole game.
Thanks again..wonder if there is an updated version of the level switch
by Generac?
